✦ What This Page Is

A cookie is a tiny file a website puts on your device so it can remember who you are and how you use the site. This page lists every cookie we use and what it does.

For the bigger picture on how we handle data in general, read our Privacy Policy.

✦ How We Use Cookies

We keep things simple. We use cookies for three reasons.

✦ Essential — Required

These are set automatically when you use the site or connect a social account. They make the site work and aren't optional.

Cookie Why it's there How long it lasts
tsv_state_<provider>Security token that confirms the OAuth redirect back to us is legitimate (prevents CSRF)10 minutes (deleted right after login)
tsv_pkce_<provider>Security code used with TikTok's PKCE flow10 minutes (deleted right after login)
tsv_sessionRemembers that you're logged in / connected, so we can show you your audit30 days
Cloudflare cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance)Bot protection and abuse prevention at the edge, set by our hosting providerSession / up to 30 days
Payment-provider cookiesUsed by our payment provider to process payments securelySee their cookie policy

✦ Analytics — Only If You Agree

If you accept analytics cookies, we use them to understand which pages are useful, what's confusing, and where things break. No analytics cookies are set until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner.

Cookie / tool What it does How long it lasts
Privacy-friendly analytics (no cross-site tracking)Measures page views and roughly where visitors are from, in aggregateSession or 1 day

Analytics data is aggregated — we don't use it to identify you personally.

✦ Marketing — Only If You Agree

We don't use third-party advertising cookies today. If that ever changes (for example, a re-targeting campaign), we'll list them here first and ask for your consent before setting them.

✦ Your Choices

Essential cookies can't be switched off without breaking things like login, but you can refuse them by not using the site.

Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you opt in through the banner on your first visit. You can change your mind any time at thesocialvoiceco.com/cookies/settings (or clear your cookies in your browser and the banner will come back).

Browser controls — you can block or delete cookies any time in your browser settings:

✦ Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We treat this as a request to turn off analytics and marketing cookies.

✦ Changes

If we add or remove a cookie, we'll update this page. For meaningful changes we'll also show you an updated banner.
